Owned by the Vanterpool family group, the hotel is built on the legacy of the renowned Quito’s Inn & Restaurant. Businessman and Chairman of the group Mark Vanterpool, who recently announced the acquisition, shared his vision of maintaining the high standards and exceptional experience that Quito’s was known for.

TORTOLA, BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS - 9 OCTOBER 2024 - Following months of negotiations, MHV Resorts & Hotels announces the formal transition of Quito’s Luxury Inn and Quito’s Gazebo Restaurant & Bar to their suite of hospitality businesses. Effective October 1, 2024, the group headed by Virgin Islands businessman Mark Vanterpool assumed control of the hotel and restaurant located in Cane Garden Bay, Tortola. The new luxury hotel will be called The Cane Garden Bay Beach Hotel by MHV Resorts and Hotels.
The MHV group has a long business trajectory in the British Virgin Islands, spanning almost 40 years. The group’s offerings include supermarkets, food service, restaurants, and now hotels, poised to serve the BVI community and increase high-quality hospitality service options for guests.
